This amazing shade is an Aladdin #141 Whip-O-Lite shade produced in 1933. As you can see from the pictures above, the Aladdin Whip-O-Lite shades often look dramatically different when lit. The gold design on this particular shade turns from gold to shades of brown and black that highlight the design when lit.
